Music Submission Guidelines
CyClops Percussion is now accepting original works and arrangements of works in the public domain for all types of percussion literature including:
- Winter Percussion Shows (we also accept arrangements of shows you or a group has secured right to arrange in the past)
- Solos (any percussion discipline [Marching, keyboards, concert, world, drumset etc] )
- Ensembles (Duets, percussion ensembles etc)
- Exercises (any percussion discipline[Marching, keyboards, concert, world, drumset etc] )
- Cadences
- Stand Grooves
- Marching Percussion Show Excerpts (percussion features, breaks, tags etc)
- Method Books (compilations of your exercises, cadence, techniques, etc.)
- Any percussion related text books (that have not been published)
Submission Guidelines:
For publication consideration please email or send a copy of your score to the following address and we will be happy to review your music for possible publication. Music submitted by mail is not returned unless accompanied by a SASE. CyClops Percussion usually responds within 60 days upon receipt of your submission.

All music submissions must be accompanied with your contact information (name, email, phone, etc.)
Below are the general guidelines for submission of musical works to CyClops Percussion:
These are general guidelines and may not apply to all pieces submitted.
- All submissions must be legible and in the best condition to insure the best possible results. Please make sure that the notation, dynamics and articulations are easy to read and in the appropriate places. Illegible submissions will not be approved.
- Clearly label and identify all instruments on your score and include any special performance instructions (mallet selection, special techniques, etc.) as necessary. Include a percussion key if necessary.
- All submission must include measure numbers (if applicable) at the start of every staff system or on every measure.
- No cover design is needed.
All pieces selected for publication will be engraved to the CyClops Percussion standards regardless of submitted condition. Hand written manuscripts will be accepted.
CyClops Percussion is not responsible for lost or damaged submissions.
Below is an overview of the tier based system that royalty payouts are based on:

Figures are updated monthly, payouts are based on YTD pieces sold totals (first year only) subsequent years are figured on past years sales month to month. Payouts are made quarterly or when the author account exceeds $250 whichever comes first. If YTD author payout exceeds $600 the author will be required to submit tax information.
